Godric the Tiny Godzilla is the third addition to my collection of Critter characters that print without supports. He was mostly improvised as I modeled him, so I don't have a ton of process to document here, but I'm really happy with how he turned out and I hope you enjoy him!
Godric is a tiny little Godzilla inspired character who is shocked and appalled by the sheer amount of carnage left in his wake.
Godric is designed to be printed with no supports. I feel like out of all my models, Godric pushes the concept of no supports to its limits with his near horizontal back spikes.
I don't have much to say about Godric, other than that he's a super cute little fella and I'm happy with how he turned out. Here he is at two different scales. I handed out a bunch of the little blue Godrics to family over winter break when I traveled abroad to demonstrate what I meant when I talked about 3D printing, and now my Grandmother has a bunch on display in her home.
